FAQ

Lots of learners have completed their driving lessons in just 2 weeks! Provided you have your driving test booked already and have some driving experience - then yes its possible.

If you pick up new skills quickly and can have 4 to 5-hour lessons on consecutive days, you could even complete one of our beginner courses in 2 weeks and be a confident driver.

It depends on what suits you best, along with the number of lesson hours you require.

You could complete an intensive driving course within a few  weeks or you could spread out your lessons over a few months.

Pros of an intensive driving course:

    • You can learn to drive in a shorter time frame.
    • You can pass your driving test before a deadline, such as when your theory test certificate expires or you start a new job.
    • Taking an intensive course means you won't have to wait for a practical test slot to become available.

Cons of an intensive driving course:

    • Longer training hours can be overwhelming, tiring and may not suit your preferred learning style.

The time commitment may not be compatible with your lifestyle, education, or job.

    • You may not experience a wide range of different weather conditions during the course.

Intensive driving courses allow you to learn how to drive in a shorter period of time compared to traditional weekly lessons. The cost of these courses varies based on the number of hours you choose to take. At Drivein5, we provide options ranging from 10 to 30 hours of instruction. Please check our PRICES PAGE

It all depends on your prefernce. If you go for a manual, you’ll be able to drive both manual and automatic cars but it requires more skills you’ll need to learn. Automatic cars are easier to control, theres no clutch and are a good choice for people who are nervous about learning to drive.

We offer a Beginner, Intermediate or Refresher driving course, with 5 hours of  driving per day with 30 minute break in between for lunch.

Choose from fully intensive driving lessons (5 hours) or semi-intensive driving lessons (2 hours). We aim to fit things around you—so even if you work or study, we’ll still get you road ready in quick time.

The 10-hour course is ideal if you’re an experienced learner almost ready to sit the UK driving test. Your driving instructor will spend an hour assessing your current skills and the rest of the time will be used polishing up to get to test standard. You should already be comfortable controlling the car and will spend the 10-hour course practicing the finer details, such as manoeuvres.
